The Talent Academy
The Talent Academy was established in 2023 with the aim of supporting the pipeline of musicians passionate about specializing in early music. As part of the Talent Academy, young music students or recent graduates will have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with international baroque specialists as part of the Copenhagen Baroque Festival. They will also have the chance to play with the festival orchestra, Arte dei Suonatori, attend all rehearsals and concerts, perform their own concert at the festival, and engage in all festival activities, allowing them to build a significant network among the festival’s many musicians.
In 2024, the Talent Academy will feature Anna Johansson (baroque cello), Julius Vilfred (harpsichord), and Nanna Treu (baroque violin). Come and meet them when they perform a late-night concert during the festival.
