Young Talent
Each year, the Copenhagen Baroque Festival celebrates a young musician and their passion for baroque music. This initiative is part of our commitment to nurturing future baroque musicians, and providing them with valuable experience and support.
Young Talent is a title awarded to a young musician with exceptional soloist and ensemble skills. Each year, the next year’s young talent performs a surprise encore at a given concert, their name being announced a year in advance. This gives our audience a unique opportunity to experience some of the future stars of baroque music.
This year, we are excited to feature Anna Kzryzak, a violist who plays with Arte dei Suonatori. Anna delivered a stunning encore at the concert at Rosenborg Castle in 2023, so some of you might already be familiar with her. We have followed Anna’s career diligently, and Anna’s talent shines brightly; her viola’s warm tone mirrors her personality, and she is fearless in her exploration of both baroque and contemporary music.
Previous talents include Joachim Becerra Thomsen, Jonas Frølund, and Katarzyna Olszewska.
